MISO Elite Information

MAJOR ISLAND SOCCER ORGANIZATION YOUTH SELECTIONS

MISO Elite is a development and identification process with checks and balances that will offer a high level training environment to prepare players to maximized their ability to compete with mainland USA players that have access to high level National League. MISO Elite Teams will be chosen in the spirit of USClub Soccer ID2/PDP program; this is for Hawaiian players. MISO Elite is a year around program with cost conscience fees. Coaches Education will be open to all coaches regardless of league affiliation. Year around player pools will be maintained and players will be added and subtracted based on performance. Our MISO Elite staff comes to Big Island and Maui and soon to be to for monthly training.

Philosophy: To streamline the development of Hawaii youth soccer players through the Major Island Soccer Organization ‘MISO’ current youth leagues and youth tournaments.

US Club Soccer National Purpose: Players that participate in MISO Elite selection events will be scouted for inclusion in all age appropriate MISO Elite events; this includes monthly training and domestic/international events. Invites to all events will be based on performance at MISO Elite events as well as coach/scout recommendations. Players scouted at showcases or during any league games may also be selected for MISO Elite participation. Following the MISO Elite training events, there will be a final team(s) chosen for Domestic and International competition.
